Man, 34, arrested after police called to disturbance in Hawick

One man has been arrested in connection with a disturbance at a home in Hawick’s Fraser Avenue yesterday.

Multiple police cars were seen arriving at the house in Burnfoot at around 6.30pm last night.

A force spokesman said: “Police were called around 6.40pm on Thursday, April 23, following the report of a disturbance at a property in Fraser Avenue, Hawick.

“A 34-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.”
