52-year-old fined £500 for growing cannabis at farmhouse near Hawick
A man has been fined £500 at Jedburgh Sheriff Court for producing cannabis at a farmhouse near Hawick.
Andrew McCreadie, 52, pleaded guilty to committing that offence at Upper Tofts Farm at Kirkton, five miles east of the town, on September 24 last year.
He was also fined £225 for failing to securely store a shotgun.
Elaine McCreadie, 54, had her not-guilty plea to producing cannabis accepted by the crown.
