Scottish Borders Council have backed a change of criminal justice structure in Scotland to a local model.
The move, favoured by the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities, would result in money being directly allocated to SBC by the Scottish Government. The Government is currently undertaking a consultation on the proposal.
