It is reported that a hydrogen fuel could be available within three years at only 90p a gallon.
The fuel will without doubt reduce the use of fossil fuel and please the green lobby by reducing carbon emissions.
But to believe that it will provide cheap motoring is fantasy. As more drivers use the new fuel and revenue to the Exchequer drops, the Government will raise the tax.
If anybody doubts this just think what happened with diesel a few years ago.
