Changing the lives of those who live in poverty

The generosity of the folks in the Borders never ceases to surprise me.

I wish to express my sincere thanks and that of the Kelso Churches Together Christian Aid group to all the people in Kelso and surrounding villages who so generously supported Christian Aid Week.

The householders of Kelso really stepped up to the mark this year,. donating £5,018.65 in their red envelopes through the registered house-to-house collection. This, together with other fundraising efforts, from music to lunches and a quiz, raised the magnificent record-breaking sum of £6,475.98 for the work of Christian Aid.

This has only been possible by the hard work and support of so many people.

Thank you to all who supported Christian Aid Week in Kelso and surrounding villages in any way. You have helped to change the lives for the better of people living in poverty.
