THEY are neither a cover band nor a tribute act, according to their promoters.
Instead, Them Beatles (pictured, top of page) are a “visual and aural celebration” of Britain’s favourite band, and are appearing at Kelso’s Tait Hall on Friday, March 4.
A spokesperson for the group said: “The four boys in this band share an obsession with the Beatles. Every detail is researched extensively. Sounds a bit exhausting? For the band it could not be more of a pleasure.”
Among their more notable appearances have been a gig in front 5,000 people for the ATP Bowlie 2 Festival, which was curated by Belle and Sebastian.
They have had a summer residency at Blackpool North Pier Theatre and a sell-out Christmas Show at Glasgow’s ABC. They will return to Scotland’s biggest city to perform at the Pavilion Theatre the night before arriving in Kelso as part of a UK and European tour.
Tickets are priced at £10 and the doors open at 7pm. Tickets are available from www.borderevents.com, Brown’s Newsagents in Kelso and Guess What? in Galashiels.
