Bypass safety fears

Before the Melrose crematorium construction begins, would Scottish Borders Council care to explain its plans for the safe transit of cars to and from the site?

There is danger enough for just one car in negotiating the filter from the Melrose bypass to the site. The bypass has only three lanes, constantly heavy traffic and there is filter space for very few cars.

What road safety measures will be put in place for 68 cars and an unknown number of pedestrians attending and then leaving 16 cremations a week?
