Hundreds of Borders house sellers will be taking part in the BSPC’s special open viewing weekend on July 21 and 22, by making their homes available between the hours of 11am and 4pm without the need for prior appointments.
BSPC chairman David Kilshaw said: “Our open viewing weekend is designed to encourage people who are thinking of buying to take some time over Saturday and Sunday in order to visit properties within their price range and to get a real sense of what is currently available and for sale in their area.
“Without the hassle of having to phone around different agents and arrange a series of specific viewing times, potential buyers can simply turn up in the knowledge that all the properties participating in the scheme will be available to view. We very much hope this will work to the benefit of both buyers and sellers.”
Open viewings give potential buyers greater flexibility to slot in viewings when it suits them and if they have several properties they would like to view, it also means they can plan a route that is the most direct and therefore time and energy saving, as opposed to one based on an appointment schedule.
BSPC is continually striving to give their clients a professional and pro-active service that delivers results – and as part of that, let the viewings commence!
Participating properties are also highlighted in the latest issue of the BSPC Property Guide.
