Stark Main hope to make it double whammy at June event

Selkirk-based Chartered Tax Advisors and Accountants Stark Main & Co have been shortlisted for two prestigious national awards.

The company has been shortlisted as Small Accountancy Firm of the Year in the Scottish Accountancy Awards 2012 and alongside three other firms will be attending the awards event at the Glasgow Hilton Hotel tonight, hopeful of success.

The team has also been shortlisted as UK Firm of the Year. As last year’s winner they are delighted to have been shortlisted again and feel this is proof that last year’s win was no single achievement, rather testimony to their long-term commitment to excellent customer service and a culture of constant improvement.

Director Ian Main said: “We are very proud to have been shortlisted for these awards and to have achieved national recognition for the efforts that our committed and innovative team have expended on behalf of our client base and community.

To have been shortlisted alongside other well know and highly respected firms is a true honour and regardless of the eventual outcome, we will continue to provide proactive tax and business growth advice to our growing client base and create the environment for our team to excel in their careers and make a positive contribution to the community as part of our core values.”
