A Peebles entrepreneur has been shortlisted amongst the best new business brains in Britain.
Cherith Harrison, originally from the Borders town, has been named on the shortlist for a prestigious business award.
Cherith, pictured second from right along with Stuart Ebdy, David Hastie and Hayley Brown, will represent Scotland as finalists across four categories of the Great British Entrepreneurial Awards.
The quartet are based at Edinburgh’s Entrepreneurial Spark, and are preparing to face stiff competition including television stars, Dragons Den hopefuls and ex-Apprentice candidates at the event in November.
Thanks to collaborative and determined mindsets encouraged within the accelerator, they’re up for the challenge.
Cherith, originally from Peebles, runs Cherith Harrison Ltd, and recognises what winning an award could do for her business.
The 32-year-old said: “Not only do the awards stamp a seal of approval on my designs, they also give me further credibility and recognition as a successful woman in business.”
