Bullocks (65) averaged 202.8p per kg (+7.5p on the week) and sold to 2.22p from Honeyburn, gross £1519 from Lurdenlaw.
Heifers (48) averaged 198.5p per kg (+6.4 p on the week) and sold to 2.24p from Bee Edge, gross £1310 from Bee Edge.
The eight young bulls averaged 187.6p per kg (+3.2 p on the week) and sold to 205p from Thirlestane, gross £1190 from Thirlestane.
The 65 beef type OTM cattle averaged 145.1p per kg (+7.1p on the week) and sold to 182p from Ayton Cocklaw, gross £1333 from Northfield.
The 2,610 spring lambs averaged 171.6p per kg (£72.98 per head, -4.1p on the week) and sold to £85 a head from Saughland and Huntington and 188.5p per kg from Sydenham.
The 905 ewes averaged £68.82 (-£12.39 on the week) and sold to £95 (Suffolk) from Craigsford Mains.

THE Cumberland and Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart PLC had forward 107 prime cattle, four young bulls, 31 over 30 month cattle, 7,276 prime lambs and 7,849 cast ewes and rams at their weekly sale at Longtown last Thursday.
Once again a large show of 107 prime cattle saw a tremendous trade throughout and vendors going home delighted with their returns.

A collosal show of 7,276 prime lambs selling to the usual full ring of buyers and averaging a very respectable 176.1p per kilo for that sheer volume, a good 6-10p ahead of other centres on the same day.
The sale was topped at 207p per kilo for Beltex from Janey and Libby Hall, Blacksmiths Cottage.
The 2,079 lightweight lambs sold to a top of 207.5p per kilo and £72.50 per head for Texels from Miss Robyn Bowker, Ashrigg Park, Gretna.
A phenomenal show of 7,849 cast ewes and rams were forward to the usual full ring of buyers and met a fantastic trade to be up £3 on the week as Ramadam comes to an end.
The sale was topped at £160.50 for a Charollais ram from Newbigging.
