Time is running out for entries to the Scottish Borders Business Excellence Awards 2010-11. The Awards will celebrate the best of Borders businesses, and Scottish Borders Council is urging businesses and social economy organisations to send in their applications. Applications to the Awards close on Friday 4th February.
Vicky Davidson, SBC Executive Member for Economic Development said “These Awards give business owners the opportunity to showcase their successes and gain the recognition they deserve. There is a great range and variety of businesses in the Borders, and the Council, together with public and private sector partners, is running these Awards to highlight business achievements and promote entrepreneurship. We are delighted with the response so far, and look forward to receiving even more applications over the next two weeks.” Three businesses in each category will be short listed as finalists, and representatives from the companies will be invited to an awards lunch on Friday 18th March at the Scottish Borders Campus, Galashiels, where presentations will be made to the finalists and the category winners will be announced.
