Have your say

AT THE beginning of January, Innerleithen was crowned a winner of BT’s Race to Infinity, giving access to superfast broadband by early 2012. The next step is for Openreach to complete a survey to assess and plan fibre deployment.

Congratulations go to Brian McCrow and his team for their great campaign and to the support of everyone who voted to make this possible.

What you might not know is, as part of the prize, BT is providing Innerleithen with IT equipment worth £5,000 to be awarded to the most deserving community project or projects.  So we want to hear from you.

Which not-for-profit community initiatives do you think should win this boost of IT equipment? Do you think the local community centre needs more PCs? Does the local school need a new server?  How about a youth group, could it do with new kit?

If you’ve got a project or initiative you would like to nominate, all you have to do is complete the entry form at www.racetoinfinity.bt.com/nominations

Please complete your nomination by March 27. Nominated entries need to be located in the eligible exchange postcode area. For full terms and conditions go to www.racetoinfinity.com/nominations. Terms and conditions apply.
