Broomlands are brilliant

Have your say

PRIMARY school children in Kelso have raised nearly £700 – and counting – for Red Nose Day.

Primary six pupils from Broomlands Primary School raised £690 by taking part in sponsored events such as how many chapters they could read in two days or not biting their nails for a week. And they ran a competition to see who could guess the member of staff from pictures of their childhood, as well as selling red noses.

Meanwhile P7’s total has yet to be worked out for they are still raising money by having cake sales and selling stationery and toys.
