Rory Bremner joined radio presenters Keith Clarkson and Iain Waugh in Jedburgh to launch a 2016 calendar in aid of the children’s charity, Cash for Kids.

The calendar features landscape images taken in the Borders and North Northumberland, a result of Radio Borders’ “Love Where You Live” photography competition, sponsored by Cullen Kilshaw Estate Agents.

Mr Bremner congratulated the featured photographers and talked of his own love for the region’s spectacular scenery.

All proceeds from the sale of the calendars are going to the radio station’s charity Cash for Kids. Charity manager Candy Rafferty said: “It is hard to imagine that within this stunning countryside there are children in desperate need.

“We are seeing a massive spike in the number and value of appeals coming in to us, and are constantly seeking new ways of meeting these needs.

“This calendar will do just that.

“It’s the perfect present for anyone living here as well as those who have moved away and are missing home. Each one sold will help a local child.”

The calendar will be on sale at Tourist Information sites across the area, as well as many other shops and offices, priced at £7.50.
