A 27-YEAR-OLD man from Galashiels was arrested at the Borders General Hospital in the early hours of Sunday after causing a disturbance.
The man was charged with an offence under the Emergency Workers Act.
The 27-year-old was later released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
