Christine Grahame MSP hails the deferral of the council tax benefit cut (Southern, April 26), saying it will be funded to the extent of £17million by the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (CoSLA).
This effectively means that councils will have to pay for it. Since council tax rates have been frozen, this means that local authority services will have to be cut to pay for it.
Will Ms Grahame be putting forward a recommendation as to which services in Scottish Borders Council should be cut?
