A NEW professional theatre company continues its tour of the Borders tomorrow.
Treading The Borders is presenting Marrakech by Graham Swannell and Arthur Miller’s I Can’t Remember Anything at venues across the region.
A spokesperson for the company said: “While some plays may be written by internationally recognised writers, the company is also working with local writers to inspire new work for the stage in a process that is enduring and supportive.
“With a policy of inclusion and accessibility, we are also developing connections with schools and other community groups, as well as taking theatre to places of historic interest and venues that provide new experiences for an evening of entertainment.
“There is a wealth of talent in the area, some stunning buildings in beautiful locations, dynamic and vibrant communities – these are all points of reference that Treading The Borders wishes to celebrate.”
The tour is as follows: Tomorrow (Friday) – Lucy Sanderson Hall, Galashiels, 7.30pm (£9/£7 concessions); Saturday, November 12 – Smailholm Village Hall, 7.30pm (£9/£7); Friday, November 18 – Kailzie Gardens, Peebles, 6.45pm (£26 including drink and supper); Saturday, November 19 – County Hotel, Selkirk, 7.30pm (£9/£7); Friday, November 25 – Coldingham Hall, 7.30pm (£8/£6 under 18s); Saturday, November 26 – Heart of Hawick, 7.30pm (£9/£7).
