The Two Rivers Theatre Company are presenting ’Allo’Allo by David Croft and Jeremy Lloyd in Hawick and Langholm next week.
A company spokesperson said: “This hilarious, iconic play is set in wartime France in a small café run by Rene Artois.
“The main theme of this production is the Fallen Madonna with the Big Boobies and how Rene and his wife Edith, helped by various characters, try to keep it for themselves to sell after the war, by making forgeries of the real painting.
“All the well-known characters from the TV series, pictured top of page, are included in the play, such as Herr Flick, Helga, Gruber, Yvette, Mimi, Michelle, Crabtree, the German colonel and Italian captain, and many more.”
The Two Rivers production is at Hawick Town Hall from Wednesday (October 17) to Friday, October 19.
Doors open at 7pm and tickets, priced at £8, are available at ILF Imaging, Sandbed, Hawick, or phone 01450 379757.
The Two Rivers is also presenting ’Allo ’Allo on Saturday, October 20, in the Buccleuch Centre, Langholm.
