Aiming at the wrong target

How easily a badly-aimed missile can cause collateral damage.

I refer to Chris John’s letter in your August 4 edition.

Mr John seems to have confused council employees with elected councillors and wrongly aimed his missive at the latter. If £100,000 was on offer for councillors, who give their time, energy and experience to serve their community, I imagine his ballot paper, come the May 2012 local council elections, would be considerably longer.
