Kelso’s Abbey Row Community Centre has worked with the Selkirk-based charity Scottish H.A.R.T. to obtain a defibrillator, which augments the number of these life-saving devices in Kelso.

Scottish H.A.R.T. was founded by Wilma Gunn, MBE in 1997 following the death of her son Cameron at the age of 19. The charity has been instrumental in installing defibrillators in every town in the Borders. They can be contacted on 01750 721297 or info.scottishhart@btinternet.com and donations can be sent to them at PO Box 14123, Selkirk, TD7 4YA.
