WALKERBURN Primary School pupils are doing their bit to save the world.
The children, from primaries 4-7 - stage name The Walkerburnies - have released their own CD single 'Everybody Get Up'.
It is the culmination of the pupils' enterprise and eco-schools work, which involved setting up their own record company - Rock Re-use Replay - and recording the CD at the Sound Station studio in Galashiels.
The single carries a strong environmental message and includes an Eco Code Rap and a percussion piece called 'Green Jam', played on eco-instruments made from recycled material.
The single will be available to buy from a number of local outlets including the M&S Green Store in Galashiels, which is funding the Scottish Borders Eco-Challenge.
All profits from the sale of the CD will go to Mary's Meals Sponsor A School scheme in Malawi and Borders Forest Trust.
And yesterday, the Walkerburnies put on a special performance of their hit single Everybody Get Up for TheSouthern's Kevin Janiak.
He just happened to have a video camera with him ...
