A housing strategy officer with Scottish Borders Council has been selected for a five-week visit to Colombia next year.
Nicola Galloway (pictured), from Earlston, has been chosen by Rotary International to take part in a group study exchange to the South American presidential republic in April.

“It’s very exciting and I’m grateful for the chance to learn how my profession operates in Colombia,” said Nicola, 29.

“I hope to be able to return to my job as with enhanced abilities.”
