Help wanted for Chernobyl children's visit

A MEETING to discuss the proposed visit of Chernobyl children to the Borders next summer will take place this Monday evening.
The information night is being held in the Kingsknowes Hotel in Galashiels, starting at 7.30pm.

Members of the Chernobyl Children Lifeline Borders Link are hoping people interested in hosting the youngsters or willing to assist in other capacities will attend to find out exactly what is involved.

It will be the seventh annual visit to the region since the local Link was formed in 2001.

Anyone interested in finding out more about next July’s visit is urged to attend the meeting or contact chairman Fraser Simm(01578 730297) and secretary Sarah Barton (01835 840333).
