The Scottish Rotary National Grayling Fishing Competition, organised by Jedburgh Rotary Club, will be held on December 12.
The event will take place along most of the length of the River Teviot (and not the Tweed as stated in last week’s report), thanks to the generosity of riparian owners, fishing syndicates and angling clubs.

The start will be at the fishing hut near the Harestanes centre, signposted from the A68 just north of the bridge over the River Teviot near Ancrum.

Registration will take place from 8am and entry costs £10 per person.

Some great trophies and prizes will be competed for and all funds raised will be going towards a Rotary charity cause involving water and/or fishing.
