AN Eddleston chef has honoured at the Scottish Chef of the Year awards.
Patrick Bardoulet of The Horseshoe Inn, who began his career in Paris, before working in Dublin, England, Denmark and Cyprus, was named best rural chef.

Along the way, he worked at the Roxburghe Country House Hotel and Jedforest Hotel before returning to the Borders in 2005 to set up his own restaurant in The Horseshoe Inn.
