The second phase of development at Tweedbank Sports Complex is now on stream. The £80,000 investment compliments the £300,000 first phase which was completed last year. This latest scheme was paid for by Borders Sport and Leisure Trust (BSLT) and sportsscotland and includes an exercise studio, Power Plate and personal training rooms. Floodlighting has also been installed at the athletics track.
Ewan Jackson, BSLT’s chief excutive said: “The first phase is already proving its value as a community resource and we hope these new opportunities will be equally appealing and provide enjoyable ways for people of all ages to participate in sport and leisure.”
