Hawick High on music

Hawick Music Live! is hosting a second concert at the Heart of Hawick this month on Wednesday, January 30, at 7pm, which brings Hawick High School music students back on a return visit.

Gordon Macdonald of Hawick Music Live! said: “This is always a popular and inspirational concert as these young students have talent in abundance, boundless energy and infectious personalities.”

“The programme will feature a range of instruments, and various vocal items. If this concert is anything like their recent production of Guys and Dolls then we’re in for a real treat!”

He added: “As this extra concert is out-with our season, tickets for both members and visitors alike will be, adults £6 and students £2. This will be an exceptional concert, so mark the date in your diary and make sure you book your seats. Let’s have a full-house for our Hawick High School Music Students; they deserve nothing less.”

Tickets for the concert may be purchased at Visit Scotland, Box Office, Tower Mill (Tel: 01450 360688) and, if available, at the door on the day.
