Howdenburn Primary School will be holding a two-day exhibition today and tomorrow in Jedburgh Town Hall.

The exhibition launches at 10am with a musical performance by primary six and seven pupils.

The exhibition is open from 10am to 6pm today and from 11am to 3pm tomorrow.

The children have studied aspects of the local community and the built environment over the past year supported by a variety of specialists including architects, archaeologists, Scottish Borders Council planning officers, sculptors, ceramicists and a sound artist.

From their findings, the students produced a variety of work including paintings, stone carvings, photographs, music, models, soundscapes, writing and poetry.
