DISNEY'S Beauty and the Beast will have its Borders premiere at Innerleithen's Memorial Hall, performed by the town's amateur operatic society.
They will present the hit musical – which has played in 13 countries and 115 cities professionally since opening on Broadway – from Monday March 29 to Saturday April 3.
Innerleithen Opera favourites Angela Thomson and John Armstrong are taking the title roles and lead a fresh cast of heroes and villains. Also in the show is the Beauty and the Beast song and the score which both won Academy awards, in addition to numbers such as Be Our Guest.
Beauty and the Beast is on at 7.30pm each night, while the Saturday matinee starts at 2.30pm.
Tickets cost £8 (£6.50) for area seats or £9 (£7.50) for a balcony view.
