This week's photograph comes from Fife reader Chris Anderson and captures office staff at Earlston egg Packing station in June, 1951.
It was taken by Chris's father, the late Edward Anderson at Georgefield, Earlston.

The women are pictured outside the office which is the wooden building in the background. Unfortunately, Chris cannot name any of those in the picture, so perhaps some Framed in Time readers could put names to faces.

Chris says his family lived at Earlston Mains from 1950-1956. Earlston Mains was at that time owned by Mr Grant of Georgefield, a farm on the south side of Earlston, and Chris's father worked for him as company secretary of Earlston Egg Packing Station.

The family left Earlston in 1959.

Meanwhile, our photograph of Galashiels Town Council from 1968 sparked some interest. The young lady pictured at one end of the top table was Janice Neilson, now Janice Allan, and she phoned to give us the missing names of those we could not identify last week.

The full line-up now reads: top table, from left, Bob Hogg, Swinton Purves, Provost William Pate, George Knox and Janice Neilson. Sitting round the table, from left, George Millar, Drew Tulley, George Johnston, Joe Boyle, Alex Scott, Thomas Irvine (burgh chamberlain), Bob Bruce (burgh surveyor), Bob Nicholson, Hugh McMorran, Alex Melrose, Kenny Burrell, Albert Williams, Dave Fisher.
