When my wife and I went for a walk to the Swinney, near Jedburgh, we were disgusted and dismayed to see the rubbish pictured, that had been dumped at the parking/turning area in woodland off the Bonchester Bridge road.
What sort of mindless morons dump rubber tyres, kitchen appliances, matresses and other junk in our beautiful countryside? They had the impudence to dump the stuff next to a notice asking people to stop the "dumb dumpers. There are free services that allow people to get rid of unwanted rubbish, without having to desecrate the countryside.
