Reiverssportsbar in Galashiels is the best place to go at weekends. Cracking good bands, cheap booze and good company. Don't waste your time and money going to dives like The Bridge (crap beer), or Wetherspoons (shithole), just visit Reivers and have a great night out

This is an almost hidden pool/snooker bar which is favoured by local Celtic fans who have a room upstairs in the bar…but least said about that the better.
It is somewhat dingy but the staff are friendly, the quiz machine has a good selection and on big sporting occasions it is a great place to watch the match.
The snooker facilities are ok for a smaller club and are usually quite quiet so you wont be shown up if you are not very good
