Peel nurses put in £500

A cheque for £500 has been presented to the Margaret Kerr Palliative Care Unit appeal by the Peel Trained Nurses Association.

The cheque was presented to Clare Oliver, centre, by the association’s chairperson, Jean Riddell, left, and secretary Elsie Fortune. Construction of the unit at the Borders General Hospital is well under way.
