You’re blooming great, Melrose

I want to congratulate those involved with Melrose in Bloom for their wonderful work around the town.

My husband and I holidayed in Scotland in September. We spent a couple of days in Melrose and we thought it was the most beautiful town with all the flowers on the buildings. It was fantastic to see.

It rained the days we were there, but the colour of the flowers really did brighten up the town.

I took many photos and was just printing one when it made me remember what a lovely time we had there and that I should look Melrose in Bloom up.

I was very surprised to see volunteers carry out this work. It looks so professional and I felt sure it was a little business that someone ran.

I hope the townsfolk appreciate your work. You should be very proud of what you have achieved.
