Straight from Tweedbank to Waverley

While speaking to residents at our recent community drop-ins across Midlothian and the Borders, it became clear that many potential users of the railway are concerned that their journey from the Borders may not be direct, and that they will have to change at Newcraighall to reach Edinburgh Waverley.

This is incorrect; passengers will be able to travel direct from Tweedbank to Edinburgh Waverley. They will not be required to change at any station along the route to reach Edinburgh. The full journey from Tweedbank to Waverley will take about 55 minutes.
