St Boswells show winners

Newtown St Boswells & District Farmers’ Show sponsor seed merchant Johnny Watson presented cups to the summer show’s stock and crop winners at a prizegiving evening at the Buccleuch Hotel, St Boswells recently.

Over 45 attended when the overall winner was Grant Todd of Greenend, Melrose who won the field of sheep and grass classes and was third in the wheat class. Other class winners were Rob Tinto (cows), Graham Dagg (grazing cattle), Robert Bruce (winter barley and spring barley classes), Robert Claydon (wheat), Donald Maxwell (oats), Charlie Stewart (oilseed rape).
