David Ness : Obituary

NESS Newcastle-upon-Tyne and formerly of Jedburgh. David Waugh Ness, 69 years, died at The Freeman Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne, 17th July 2012, dearest husband of Eileen (née Rae), loving dad of Angela and Sandra, and special grandad of Emily and Hannah. Ex Newcastle City and Northumbria Police. Church Service and Cremation held in Newcastle, Monday 23rd July 2012. Donations in lieu of flowers were appreciatively received on the day, in aid of Leukaemia's "Bright Red" charity and Scottish Rugby Union's injured players charity, "Hearts and Balls".
